Jazzmusics is a growing set of interactive practice tools for jazz musicians. Instead of another wall of text, each concept is a working instrument you can play in any key.
What this is
Most jazz theory online is blog posts and videos. Jazzmusics takes the same concepts — the ii–V–I, turnarounds, scales and the blues — and turns them into trainers you can see on piano and guitar and loop along to.
Everything is built on music theory and original, in-browser synthesized audio. There are no copyrighted lead sheets, melodies, lyrics or transcribed solos anywhere on the site — just the generic harmonic forms and the theory behind them, which belong to everyone.
The goal is fluency in all twelve keys. Pick a tool, pick a key, and play.
